Opera Under the Stars with the City of Stonnington

It was fantastic to once again be part of The Classics Opera, produced by the City of Stonnington.

On a warm February evening, Victoria Gardens was absolutely bursting with people who had come along with picnic rugs, friends and family to enjoy a free night of opera under the stars. The event has become a much-loved tradition in Stonnington and this year’s crowd showed just how popular it continues to be.

Under the artistic direction of Ali McGregor, audiences were treated to performances from some of Melbourne’s outstanding opera voices including Johanna Allen, Jess Hitchcock, Boyd Owen, Kiran Rajasingam, and Raphael Wong.

For Media Strategy Australia, it was a pleasure to once again capture the evening through photography and video — documenting the atmosphere, the performances, and the incredible crowd that packed the gardens.
